February 5, 2006 - Albany, New York -- Empire Solutions Consulting LLC is proud to announce that it will contribute to the nation-wide pandemic planning effort undertaken by the Federal government in response to the threat of Bird Flu.  The firm will be assisting Gordon C. James Public Relations of Phoenix ,AZ in the development of forums and media events in conjunction with our nation's governors to ensure that states are prepared for any potential wide-spread infection.

"This is one of the most pressing issues we face as a nation," said Empire Solutions Consulting president, Thomas J. Basile.  "Whether it is Bird Flu or biological terrorism, this nation will only be prepared when all levels of government and our first responders are fully engaged in planning.  It is a privilege to be part of this historic effort," he concluded.

At the direction of the White House the Department of Health and Human Services is in the process of holding 55 conferences across the US to engage local leaders in the planning effort.
